Mercato Gourmet at The Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong, embodies elegance and sophistication. Through our interior design services, we created a luxurious high-end grocery store that harmonises seamlessly with the hotel's colonial charm. The space showcases a refined wine cellar and a meticulously crafted temperature-controlled cheese room. Every detail, from the lighting to the choice of materials and layout, has been thoughtfully considered to enhance the display and sale of the exquisite products. Mercato Gourmet offers an immersive shopping experience where discerning customers can indulge their senses in a tastefully curated environment.
This project at The Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong presented unique challenges due to the limitations of working with low ceilings. Despite this constraint, we rose to the occasion and successfully crafted a luxurious high-end grocery store that seamlessly complemented the hotel's grand charm. Careful consideration was given to product placement, customer flow, and layout design, ensuring an optimal shopping experience for customers. The meticulous attention to detail in every aspect, from the execution and craftsmanship to the overall design, was imperative to uphold the high standards associated with The Peninsula's prestigious reputation as a colonial high-end hotel. The end result was an immersive shopping environment that elegantly displayed and sold great products, while maintaining the essence of sophistication and refinement throughout.
